Balatonakali is a quiet resort centre located by the Western footing of the Pécsely-basin at a 10 km distance from Balatonfüred. A calm forest with juniper trees, oak trees and Turkish oak trees covers the footing of the hill on the one hand and on the other hand view of Tihany grants an enjoyable panorama. Turning down from main road 71 towards lake Balaton one can find camping places, student camps, tennis courts, hotels, cottages, bungalows, buffets, pizzerias, open cinema, grocery, patisserie, and a diner-disco.

Balatonakali

A quiet pleasant rest is provided by a good quality beach. There are buffets, rentals, sand pits and a volley ball beach ground on the beach. The pier and the beach are suitable for fishing.
