After Balatonfüzfő, the high yellow soiled shores are smoothened out and a new mountain chain starts curving round the bay of Balatonalmádi. We can see red soil as a result of Permian red sand stone which was formed appr. 240-200 million years ago. The railway station of Balatonalmádi, the walk towards the Szabadság (Freedom) Lookout Tower across the path surrounded by tan bark forest reaching the Lookout Tower on the hilltop (296 m high).
