The centre of Heviz includes Hotel a 10.9 acre park by Europe's largest natural spa-lake. NaturMed Hotel Carbona is situated about 500 metres from this lake, right in the beautiful park. Guests may choose from air-conditioned comfort-rooms, apartments, rooms for the disabled, and rooms for allergic people. All are equipped with bath/shower, telephone, cable-TV, radio, minibar, safe, and haridryer. The hotel has its own health-centre, offering: Roman thermal bath (supplied by its own thermal spring), 2 whirlpools and a Kneipp-basin.
The outdoor experience bath is covered from November until April, and includes a hydrojet, whirlpool, hydromassage, children's corner, playground and Medirreranean garden. All these are supplemented by a swimming-pool (25x12.5 m) with a wellness-bath, and a Sauna World with Finnish sauna, aroma chamber, steam bath, and tepidarium. The hotel offers complex and effective treatments for locomotor diseases (the traditional Heviz therapy), ordered by our specalists after a meticulous medical examination. In addition, curative gymnastics (individual and in groups), physiotherapy, therapeutical exercises, carbonic acid bath, ionozon hydrogalvanic bath, mud pack, fluor pack, underwater massage, tangento, and weight bad is also available. Additional services include: Vital Therapies with health's state gauging (Biofit-test and thermographical examination), Pampering wellness treatments (large assortment of special massages, body wrappings, aromatic and herbal baths oriental relaxation excercises and treatments, such as Tai Chi, Yoga, autogen training, Thai-, Shiatsu-, and Yumeiho massage), Beauty Farm (hairdresser's, manicure-chiropody, beauty parlor, offering effective face, body and cellulite treatments), Suntube fitness room (equipped with modern cardio-machines), Tennis fields (hard court) with trainer, Bicycle rental, Detox and fasting cures, organized for groups (including the fasting cure of Buchinger and Lützner and anti-slag cures of potato, asparagus, strawberry, melon, or grapes) to regenarate and detoxify the body, while refreshing the soul. Since 2004, the hotel provides the special treatments of thalasso therapy. The products of Thal'ion, the famous French producer, are used for the mineral supplying, energizing, slimming and complete cures. In the spring of 2005, the hotel opened a new Thalasso centre, which now awaits its guests with personally tailored advice.
