Lenti lies in the Kerka Region, in the south-western part of Hungary near the Austrian and Slovenian borders, between the ethnographic regions of Göcsej and Hetés, which are very rich in ethnographic characteristics and folk customs. The town has cherished the memories of the Slavic and Hungarian traditions, as well. Lenti is developing dynamically and it has got several sights, renovated monuments and entertainment to offer.
Two of its attractions are the mill-pond and the fishing lake in the nearby. The water of the spa comes from one of the biggest hot springs in the world that have the highest content of minerals. The temperature of the water is very high: 95 degrees Celsius. The thermal spa has been open since 1978. There are four outdoor and three indoor swimming-pools in the area of 4 Ha. Two of the pools are filled with medicinal water which is suitable for rheumatic treatments. There is also a sports swimming-pool here which guarantees a great opportunity to relax.
