In the centre of the village is where you find our peasant house, which was built in the year of 1925 with wooden rafters and portico. In complement with the original building and in one style can be found a new wing of the building. The 40 meters long building is situated in an intimate grassy garden of 1700 square meters surrounded with many fruit trees and flowers. In the interest of comfort and privacy for our guests, a 600 square meters of the above mention area is separated with a private entrance for our guests.
In an openly built level of 50 square meters, an area sheltered in shade, is the ideal place for rest and relaxation. Bread-baking/making: A daily activity of our life here in Magyarpolány, of which its experience and the favourable results of baking bread, we gladly share with our guests. Drying of fruits: During the time of late summer, early fall, we are able together with our guests to prepare in the bread baking oven dried fruits. Departing guest receive packaged dried fruit, which in the wintertime helps bring back the warm memory s of summer. The accommodations are decorated in 100-year old regional culture, which is in two separate levels both 35 square meter flats, with private entrances,
allowing for easy and comfort staying. Altogether 15-km long trails marked with signs showing coloured boots, the longer walks or cycle trails within the surrounding forests can be used easily by bicycle. Within the town you can rent mountain bikes for these excursion. We can also help in planning programs for our guests, who wish to find out more about our regional culture and history. From outdoor programs of going sight seeing in the Bakony and the Somló Mountain to wine-tours, hunting and fishing. To indoor programs such as handcrafting or attending plays.
