Zánka is situated halfway between Balatonfüred and Badacsony to West from Balatonakali: This spot is a cross road of roads and waters of Nivegy Valley and Káli basin. During the past years the development of the settlement has been amazing, both the country museum house and the beach were renewed. The beach became ideal for families with young children.
The biggest event of the summer are the Fishing Days and the Wine Week of Zánka filled up with colourful programs: shooting competition, drawing-on-the-pavement contest, various smart quiz games, fishing competition and folklore events.
